Spotlight on "SDG Action Crew" in Action in the Garden by Chelle Marshall

This term the SDG Action Crew jumped right into the action by planting an extension to the herb garden at Scape. Since students have cooking facilities in their rooms and there is a large communal cooking area; a herb garden was a perfect sustainable action for our community.

Our garden is conveniently located in an outdoor patio area just outside the kitchen - available for advisory dinner preparations as well as any personal cooking needs. The SDG Action Crew planted basil, thyme, mint, cilantro, rosemary, and parsley as well as maintaining the existing onion and flowering plants.
